On a another note: which of the two will perform at Barack Obama Inauguration Day?
Beyonce revealed back in November that she wanted to sing at Obama's Inauguration Day coming up this month. Knowles told the Associated Press in November:
“I’m there. I can’t wait,I feel like all of us, we’re ready to do whatever we have to do. Whatever they want — if they need me to volunteer, they need me to sing, I’m there, and I’m ready.”
Jennifer has reportedly been asked by President-Elect Barack Obama to sing the "Star-Spangled Banner" at the historic event. Hudson who is from Obama's hometown of Chicago and Obama supported has reportedly declined his invitation to sing. According to her rep. she will not be performing on January 20th.
Hudson has not made any appearances since the tragic shootings of her mother, brother and nephew last fall. If she does not perform on the 20th, her first public appearance is scheduled for February 6th, at the MusiCares. Just two days beffore the Grammy Awards where the singer is up for best R&B album, best female R&B performace, best R&B song "Spotlight" and best R&B performance by a duo or group for her song with American Idol winner "Fantasia" called "I'm His Only Woman."
